Dr. Pradeep Suri Associate Director of the CLEAR center Resource Core
On September 19th, Pradeep Suri (MD, PhD) will be receiving an award from the International Society for the Study of the Lumbar Spine for best research paper. The award, known as the “ISSLS Prize in Clinical Science 2020”, is sponsored by European Spine Journal with the aim of encouraging lumbar spine research.
The winning article, titled “Examining causal effects of body mass index on back pain: a Mendelian randomization study” was authored by Elizaveta E. Elgaeva, Yakov Tsepilov, Maxim B. Freidin, Frances M. K. Williams, Yurii Aulchenko, and Pradeep Suri. View the article here.
