Dr Patti Curl, CLEAR Center Affiliate and Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiology, and co-authors, Mr .Ayden Jacob, Dr’s Brian Bresnahan, Nathan Cross, and Jeffrey Jarvik, published ‘Cost-effectiveness of AI-based opportunistic compression fracture screening of existing radiographs’ in JACR. They found that AI-based opportunistic screening for osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures on existing radiographs can be cost-effective from a societal perspective.
