We are pleased to welcome Dr. Peter Tarczy-Hornoch to The Clear Center as Associate Director of the Methodology Core.
Dr Tarczy-Hornoch is Professor and Chair, Department of Biomedical Informatics and Medical Education. He is also Chief Data Officer, UW Medicine Information Technology Services, Interim Chief Research Information Officer, UW Medicine Information Technology Services Director, Biomedical Informatics Core of the Institute for Translational Health Sciences (ITHS CTSA). Dr. Tarczy-Hornoch is a national leader in biomedical informatics. He brings significant experience in integration of biomedical and health data, including looking at ways of handling semi-structured data, representing uncertainty at various levels in the system and doing computerized reasoning over integrated data.
